Refresher Advanced Fire Fighting Course
The aim of the one-day classroom-based course is to teach seafarers the vital education and training to be equipped with the Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiency requirements set out in the following:
STCW Table A-VI/3
Control firefighting operations aboard ships
Organise and train fire parties
Examine and service fire detection and fire extinguishing systems and equipment
Investigate and compile reports on incidents involving fire
The STCW requirement for refresher training at 5-yearly intervals must be met or sufficient onboard evidence must be provided.

Course Commencement Every Month
- Applicant must have completed Refresher course from STCW 95 to STCW 2010 for Deck Officers in accordance with the requirements of STCW convention as amended in STCW 2010
- Individuals holding STCW 95 could update their certificates to STCW present amendments
- Passport
- CDC with Sea service record
- INDOS certificate
- AFF Certificate from India
- Medical Fitness Certificate (7 days at the time of application)
